Regathering to Worship in Person
Sunday morning worship (10am) is scheduled for outside (weather permitting). Please bring lawn chairs if possible. We will bring chairs from the Sanctuary outside for those who don’t have chairs to bring. If the weather is not acceptable, we will move worship inside the Sanctuary. Seating is limited to 49 people (25% of capacity).
For those of you who prefer to not attend in person at this time, Pastor Greg will still record an post a video of the sermon that will be available Sunday morning. You will still be able to use the link below to access that sermon video.

A Letter from Pastor Greg
Dear Rolling Hills Family,
I promised you that there would be a follow up concerning how our church leadership would respond to the continuing situation with Covid-19 now in our area. In an abundance of caution and with regard to all those who worship with us, we have decided to move our worship online for at least the next two weeks (March 15th and March 22nd). We will then reassess where we are and make a determination concerning how we will meet for March 29th.
I know some of you might think that we are simply being reactionary and succumbing to panic. Here at Rolling Hills Church, we have always cared for our people and our community. The way we care for our community right now is to limit possible exposure to the virus. If the church is called upon to do more and be a greater presence in Pittsburgh, then know that we will certainly respond to the call, but for now, we believe we show the most care for each other by not potentially passing this illness around.
For the past couple of days, we have done much to make sure that we can still gather as a church family though. Starting tomorrow morning at 10a, you will be able to head to our new YouTube channel and watch a special recording of our worship gathering. We will have worship, prayer, announcements, and a message that especially speaks to the world we find ourselves living in today. All you have to do is either go to our website www.experiencegodsgrace.org and then click the link for our YouTube page, or simply click here to go directly to our YouTube page.
All other activities for youth and children until March 28th will be moved online and held through Zoom meetings. Parents, please make sure that we have updated email addresses for your children so that we can invite them to be a part of our online gatherings. We will also have a resource available that would allow your children to participate in a Sunday School lesson each Sunday. That information will be sent out tomorrow.
For adult studies, we are leaving it up to each study to determine if they want to meet still, but the building is not available as a meeting space. You will have to meet either in a house or elsewhere for at least the next two weeks.
Starting Monday night, we will offer an opportunity for us to gather online to pray and do a quick study of Scripture. I will send out an email with the information regarding these meetings on Monday.
I know that this is a big change for us all. I would like to encourage you though, Rolling Hills Church was never the building. It is the people. We are the church and I believe that God is going to do some amazing things over these next two weeks throughout the world. So please, plan to be a part of the prayer gatherings, join us for the Bible studies, and by all means, forward this information to your friends and family and invite them to be a part of our family.
Lastly, please know that though we are not meeting in person, the church still has bills to pay. We have a couple of different ways that you can still give your offering. The easiest is to download the app called Church Center (please visit our GIVING page for a complete details). Once you set it up and pick Rolling Hills Church as your church, there will be a giving option at the bottom that will allow you to designate what your offering is and to which funds it should be directed. You can also give by texting your offering to 843-21 and following the directions there. Here is a link to see how easy you can give via our text-to-give option. If need be, you can drop your check in the mail as well.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or knowledge of those who are in need. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call or text me at (724) 882-9180. See you tomorrow as we gather to worship God and praise Him that no matter what is happening in this world, we know that He is always in control and is present in it.
